The Gap Project has been running for over 10 years and we seek to help young people to overcome barriers, learn new skills, and approach the future with greater confidence. The Gap Project seeks to be a safe place where young people are equipped to lead.
This website is the place to learn everything you need to know about who we are and what we do.
We particularly seek to work with disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people and families. We offer services and events, small and larger group meetings, support for elderly people, a pre-school group, youth clubs and a registered children's club for 5-11 year olds. We also support projects and people who work in developing countries. All our activities and services are open to the whole community. The Gap Project is in partnership with The Good Shepherd Mission, another church and charity in Bethnal Green which has similar historical roots in the tradition of 'East End Missions'.

We are always looking for volunteers to become literacy mentors for The Gap Project. If you are interested and can spare an hour a week during school hours, contact Sarah at the office.
We are now accepting referrals for the self-injury support group for 13-19 year old girls. Please contact Hannah for more information about this group.
